IT Infrastructure Project Manager - PamTen Inc

Project Description:You will be leading and manages large technical projects whilst defining work strategies, aligning these with resources and desired client outcomes, and oversight of planning and execution of the work; ensuring technology solutions are managed to support business strategies, often working with senior management. You will also be directing the integration of technical aspects of all related projects/programs; conducting analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments and helping to broker other technology services; monitoring financials to ensure budget compliance and be part of release management.Responsibilities:Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectivesDirect cross-functional and/or cross-segment teamsSolve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the businessTranslate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiencesDefining and managing project schedules, resources and delivery commitmentsManaging Scrum standup meetingsSetting up tasks using the CA Agile Central toolPerforming data collection and analysis activities using MS ExcelConducting weekly project meetings to ensure deadlines are being met and the project is kept on targetCollaborating with Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure successful outcomesCreating/Updating project status reports for program rollup and management reviewMitigating and managing project risks and issuesMandatory Skills Description:Infrastructure Project Experience: Proficient in managing infrastructure projects, particularly in migrating from legacy to modern technologies.EM EL4 role with strong program management experience, c-level engagement and M&A experience."Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates excellent people skills, fostering effective communication and collaboration within teams.Adaptability: Highly flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and environments.Technical Proficiency: Possesses strong technical expertise, enabling rapid comprehension of complex concepts and effective leadership in assigned engagements.Consulting Abilities: Skilled in providing consulting services and solutions, driving successful outcomes in projects.Team Integration: Actively engages in team meetings, swiftly establishing a cohesive presence within project teams.Nice-to-Have Skills Description:Cloud Computing Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud technologies and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud can be advantageous in modernizing infrastructure.Project Management Certification: Having a project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would enhance project management capabilities.Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools can streamline tasks in modernization projects.Cybersecurity Awareness: Understanding cybersecurity principles and best practices is valuable in ensuring the security of modernized systems.Vendor Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with technology vendors can facilitate access to the latest technologies and resources.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
