IT Contract Specialist | Remote | Rochester Hills, MI | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking an IT Contract Specialist with 2-3 years of related experience in Rochester Hills, MI. This is a 7-month contract opportunity. HOURS/SCHEDULE: 8a-5p M-F CORE REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating contracts, with 5+ years preferred • Experience ensuring compliance with corporate policies and risk mitigation strategies • Proven ability to work with IT leaders, legal counsel, procurement, and business stakeholders to develop and manage contracts • Familiar with contractual performance analysis, audits, and process improvement within an IT procurement environment • Tracking deadlines, maintaining contract records, and providing reporting/metrics. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Supply Chain Management required. • Remote opportunity but must be local to South East MI or North West OH to go onsite for required meetings WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE: • 5 years’ experience of contracts, specifically with IT contracts JOB SUMMARY IT Contracts Specialist supports the development, negotiation, renewal, maintenance, and compliance of IT contracts with established standard terms, conditions, and templates. Working in close collaboration with the IT Contracts Manager, various business stakeholders, IT leaders, and Legal counsel, this role is responsible for contract execution, assessing contractual performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions as well as the support of specific standards, service level agreements, and contract administration. The IT Contract Specialist ensures all IT contracting and procurement activity is consistently executed in accordance with the client’s policy. As a senior member of a specialist group, the IT Contract Specialist provides guidance and support to the Contract Specialists and Junior Contract Specialists on System policies and departmental procedures.
