The IT Communications Specialist will partner with Instructional Designers/eLearning Developers to create content and communications that support the global IT learning enterprise.SweetRush is seeking two communications specialists to support the eight key IT service areas:Organizational Change Management – Strategic advising, change impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, and standards for IT Audit complianceCommunications & Campaigns – Technical writing and editing to create engaging content reaching over 28,000 end users via IT News, IT Viva Engage Community, Events & Notices, and Email campaignsEnd User Events – Planning and executing events to maximize attendance and engagement while driving adoption of IT initiativesIT Learning & Enablement – Instructional design, enterprise knowledge sharing, learning facilitation and delivery, project management, and learning surveys/evaluationGraphic & Experience Design – Visual identity concepts, digital signage, and campaign assets to support IT projects and initiativesIT Sites – Sites and pages developed for IT projects to provide enhanced user experiences and successful product adoptionIT Continuous Improvement – Identifying key process improvement opportunities and enhancing customer value through community listening and measurementBusiness & Community Engagement – Partnering with the business exchange community and systems managers to bring awareness and drive adoption of IT offeringsLocation: United States - Remote - Eastern Time preferredContract Type: W2Project Duration: April 2026 to December 31, 2026, with a possible 1-year extensionProject Capacity: 30-40 hours per weekStart Date: ASAP after the interview process and background checkSweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally be available during established working hours.W2 Hourly NegotiableYour Impact and ResponsibilitiesPartner with Instructional Designers/eLearning Developers to create content supporting the global IT learning enterprise:Develop clear, engaging technical communications and campaigns tailored to diverse stakeholder audiencesSupport Change Management for key IT initiatives (cybersecurity awareness, AI, Mac at Gilead, Windows 11, Virtual Desktop Solutions, Network Refresh)Create and distribute content across channels reaching 28,000+ end users — IT News, Viva Engage, Events & Notices, and emailAssist in the production of digital signage for on-site Wayfinders, Zoom screens, and G.ScreensAssist with End User Event planning to drive attendance and IT initiative adoptionCollaborate on IT Sites content to enhance user experience and product adoptionSupport Business & Community Engagement to drive awareness of IT offeringsEnsure communications receive Public Affairs (PA) approval Contribute to IT Continuous Improvement through community listening and measurementWhat You Bring - Required Skills Proven experience in technical writing or communications within a corporate IT/technology environmentStrong writing and editing skills — able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiencesExperience collaborating with instructional design or eLearning teams on content creationFamiliarity with change management and stakeholder engagement practices Proficiency with digital communication tools — intranet platforms, email campaign tools, and community platforms (e.g., Microsoft Viva Engage)Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced enterprise environmentComfortable working remotely via virtual/instant messaging and video conferencingBonus SkillsExperience with graphic design or digital signage tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)Background in event planning or end-user enablement programsFamiliarity with IT Audit compliance standards and documentationExperience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industryKnowledge of enterprise learning platforms (LMS) and eLearning development toolsSweetRush Is an Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
