IT Auditor

The IT Auditor will perform technology-focused audits to enhance risk management and governance processes, evaluate IT risks, and provide insights on emerging technologies.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and report on IT and system-related risks and controls, including networks, operating systems, databases, applications, and cybersecurity processesParticipate in integrated audit engagements to assess both business processes and supporting technologyProvide insights on emerging technologies—such as machine learning, generative AI, and advanced data analytics—and assess their impact on risk and controlsOffer recommendations to improve IT governance, security posture, and operational efficiencyWork effectively with business and IT partners to validate audit observations and support the implementation of corrective actionsCommunicate technical issues clearly to both technical staff and managementPerform non IT audits, reviews, and special projects as neededAssist with investigations and other assignments requested by management or the BoardAssist in preparation of Board PresentationsSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related fieldOne (1) year of IT audit experience or equivalent IT/security experienceRequired Certification: CISAKnowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT 5) and experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI CoPilot or Tableau with Einstein AIUnderstanding of security concepts across Windows and Linux environments, database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle), networking, web technologies, and e commerceTeamMate Plus experience or Audit BoardStrong analytical, communication, and critical-thinking skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a collaborative audit teamMaster's Degree1–3 years of experience in public accounting or internal auditAdditional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIA, CRMA, CFE, or CPAExperience using AI enabled tools, including prompt engineering, automation, or AI agents to enhance audit processesBenefitsCompetitive base salary with targeted annual bonus.Flexible hybrid work arrangement.Exceptional work environment with onsite amenities including a restaurant, game room, coffee shop, fitness center, and employee sports leagues.A collaborative culture that values teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.A fantastic benefits package that’s hard to find in the South Florida market.Company OverviewFounded in 1923, the mission of the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) is to foster a healthy workers compensation system.
