IT Audit - Quality Assurance

Overview We are looking for an experienced IT Auditor for our banking client on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote. This position will assist with the design and maintenance of a Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) to enhance audit effectiveness and align with IIA standards. Responsibilities • Audit ISO-compliant wire transfer systems to verify adherence to messaging standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate processing and safeguarding against operational and compliance risks. • Assist with the development and implementation of Quality Assurance and Improvement Program • Perform internal quality assessments and coordinate external quality reviews for audit function. • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance • Prepare reports for senior management and regulators on audit findings and QAIP results Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields • 10+ years of relevant audit experience serving multiple Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIB) • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required • Prior experience with internal audit banking methodologies and QAIP frameworks • Working knowledge of TeamMate, Archer, and Audit Board required • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
