iOS Developer Needed – StoreKit, Cross-App Subscriptions & Push Notifications
Title: iOS Developer Needed – StoreKit + Push Notifications + App Store Submission (Multi-App Education Ecosystem)
Description:
I am launching a subscription-based educational ecosystem consisting of 4 separate iOS apps (reading, math, grammar, vocabulary by grade level). The apps are fully built and formatted for iPhone, iPad, desktop, and both orientations.
Three of the apps support multiple child profiles per parent account. Progress tracking is already implemented per child profile.
What I Need:
1. Wrap and prepare each app properly for native iOS submission.
2. Implement StoreKit (preferably StoreKit 2) for auto-renewable subscriptions.
3. Configure App Store Connect correctly for all products.
4. Implement cross-app subscription entitlement logic.
5. Implement push notification capability for lesson reminders and engagement.
6. Ensure the architecture is scalable for adding future apps (e.g., Grade 10–12).
Subscription Structure:
Single App Monthly
Single App Annual
Family Pass Monthly (unlocks all 4 apps)
Family Pass Annual (unlocks all 4 apps)
Entitlement Requirements:
• Single App subscription unlocks only that specific app.
• Family Pass unlocks all current and future apps in the ecosystem.
• Proper expiration handling.
• Proper restore purchase handling.
• Proper upgrade handling (Single → Family).
• Centralized entitlement logic that works across multiple apps.
• Scalable structure to support additional apps in the future without reworking the subscription system.
Push Notification Requirements:
• Configure Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).
• Enable lesson reminders and engagement notifications.
• Ensure notification permissions and handling are implemented correctly.
• Proper background handling and user preference toggles.
Deliverables:
• Fully functioning subscription system across 4 apps
• Working push notification integration
• Proper receipt validation / entitlement handling
• Working restore purchase functionality
• Clean upgrade/downgrade handling
• Ready-for-review builds
• Assistance through App Store submission if needed
• Brief documentation explaining how subscriptions and entitlements are structured
Required Experience:
• Strong native iOS experience (Swift / SwiftUI or UIKit)
• Deep experience with StoreKit 2 and auto-renewable subscriptions
• Experience with cross-app subscription ecosystems
• Experience implementing APNs
• Experience configuring App Store Connect
• Successfully launched subscription-based apps before
