Investment Expert

Overview Our partner is seeking experienced Investment Services professionals to participate in a collaboration with a leading AI research lab. This engagement involves supporting the development, testing, and evaluation of advanced AI systems designed to replicate real-world workflows across investment banking, private equity, asset management, and equity research. Participants will apply their professional judgment to assess and refine AI-generated outputs across core investment functions. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate investment-related outputs produced by AI systems for quality, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives • Provide expert feedback to calibrate AI decision-making across tasks such as: • Valuation and financial modeling • Portfolio analysis and construction • Financial forecasting and scenario analysis • Risk assessment and performance evaluation Ideal Qualifications • 2+ years of professional experience in investment services, including investment banking, private equity, asset management, equity research, or related buy-side or sell-side roles within established organizations • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related analytical or quantitative field • Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CAIA) are a plus • Strong proficiency in investment analysis and financial modeling, including valuation, market analysis, portfolio construction, and risk-return assessment • Solid understanding of investment processes, business performance metrics, and strategic decision-making frameworks • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights Project Timeline & Commitment • Start Date: Immediate • Duration: Approximately 1–2 months • Time Commitment: Part-time, ~20 hours per week Application & Onboarding Process • Upload resume • AI-enabled interview: a brief, conversational discussion of background (no preparation required) • Paid work trial: a 3-hour assessment evaluating the ability to interpret project guidelines and deliver investment-specific outputs Contract & Payment Terms • Engagement is on an independent contractor basis • Fully remote; work may be completed on a flexible schedule • Project scope may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on performance and project needs • Work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution • Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered • Visa sponsorship (including H-1B or STEM OPT) is not available for this role Apply tot his job
