Inventory Management Lead
Job Title: Inventory Management Lead Location: Remote Reports To: Director of Operations/ Supply Chain Manager Work Shift: Monday to Friday flexi with overlap Working Hours: 15-20 hours per week Job Summary: The Inventory Management Lead is responsible for driving the strategic planning, monitoring, and optimization of inventory across client accounts. This role ensures that stock levels are aligned with sales forecasts and supply capabilities, minimizing stockouts and overstocks while supporting overall supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead demand forecasting and replenishment planning using sales trends and historical data Analyze inventory health (e.g., critical levels, overstock, out-of-stock risks) across SKUs Align inventory planning with marketing campaigns, promotions, and client seasonality Recommend inventory actions such as reorders, markdowns, or marketing push for slow-moving items Oversee inbound PO calendar and supply planning accuracy Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for inventory KPIs Collaborate with clients, sales, and logistics to align inventory plans with operational target Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field 3+ years of experience in inventory planning or demand forecasting Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Experience with e-commerce and/or 3PL operations is a plus Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Originally posted on Himalayas
