We manage one of Europe’s largest renewable energy portfolios on the relevant short-term markets, thus enabling the successful integration of wind and solar energy into the energy market. To do this in the most efficient manner, we rely on models which we develop in collaboration with our interns.Job DescriptionWe are looking for interns that will be focusing on energy modelling and on quantitative analysis. The focus of the internship can vary between the two and can be summarised in three main tasks:Model Development: In collaboration with our traders, enhance our in-house models used for trading. The quantitative analyst role will focus on developing e.g. systematic trading strategies, risk assessments and/or short-term price forecasting models. The energy modeler role will mainly work on our fundamental energy system models, exploring how short-term changes in the energy system impacts the intraday price movements and/or refine our renewable energy forecasting models.
