International Baccalaureate IB English Instructor
Aralia is looking for International Baccalaureate IB English instructors who are passionate about providing students guidance, instruction, and IB exam preparation.
Working hours: During the school year, the class sessions are scheduled after school between 3:30 and 9:30 PM Eastern Time as well as during the weekends...
Class mode: One-on-one and small group classes (2 to 7 students) on a fully virtual/remote platform.
Requirements:
Must have at least five years of teaching experience in IB DP English (IB English A: Literature and IB English A: Language and Literature)
Knowledge of the differentiation between IB English SL and IB English HL classes
Familiar with the 3 external assessments: Paper 1: Guided literary analysis, Paper 2: comparative essay, and the HL essay.
Familiar with the individual oral internal assessment
Experience tutoring students one-on-one as well as teaching small groups
Bachelor's Degree in English or related field, preferably Master's or above
Experience teaching IB MYP English Language and literature is a plus
IB Examiner or Senior Examiner experience is a plus
