Internal Project Manager 1
Overview
The Internal Project Manager is responsible for coordinating planning managing and monitoring projects from inception through closure ensuring they are completed on time within scope and within budget.
Responsibilities
Assist with ensuring project results have an articulated scope with quantifiable business benefit
Apply basic best practices, project management methodologies, project documentation and tools, and market trends
Document the stakeholder's success metrics and criteria for projects
Coordinate and facilitate project meetings
Ensure project progresses on schedule, within budget, and in line with accepted requirements
Assist with defining and administering project charters and plans that specify goals, strategy, scheduling, and staffing
Prepare project status reports and keep all stakeholders informed of project status and related issues and risks
Deliver timely and effective updates to all identified audiences
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Practical experience with Microsoft Operating systems and products
Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
Organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness
Ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
Business and technology acumen
Sharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitude
Knowledge of project management practices
Up to 10% travel time required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
