The projects will include feature selection and classification tasks to reserch which characteristics have impact on treatment.Internship details:Start date: September and onwardsDuration: 5 – 6 monthsWorking hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)Location: Maastricht – in the officeOther location fully remoteResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Data preprocessing and preparationDevelop and evaluate machine learning models (classical and possibly deep learning)Perform feature selectionDocumentation and reportingPresent results to team and stakeholdersRequired Knowledge: Pursuing a Master degree in higher education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering Proficiency in English (preferred as C1 or above)Strong mathematical backgroundStrong Machine Learning skills- both theoretical and practical experience Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
