Intern, Fundraising & Events (Summer 2025, Remote, Paid)
Are you an organized and motivated individual interested in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and event planning? NephCure is seeking a highly driven Fundraising & Events Intern to support our team this summer. This role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit development, communications, and community engagement ā all while making a difference in the lives of patients affected by rare kidney diseases.
Responsibilities:
Donor & Data Support:
ā¢ Assist with entering and managing donor data and reports
ā¢ Help ensure accuracy and organization of fundraising and donor records
Event & Campaign Assistance:
ā¢ Support planning and logistics for fundraising events and campaigns
ā¢ Help with tasks like attendee management, auction item prep, and materials coordination
Development Operations & Outreach:
ā¢ Assist with donor research and outreach, including identifying prospects and supporting donor engagement efforts
ā¢ Help coordinate mailings, scheduling, and logistics for fundraising campaigns and initiatives
Marketing & Communications:
ā¢ Help draft donor emails, fundraising materials, and social media content
ā¢ Collaborate with the team on campaign messaging and visuals
Qualifications:
ā¢ Currently pursuing a degree in event management, business administration, marketing, nonprofit management, communications or a related field.
ā¢ Strong writing, communication, and research skills
ā¢ Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Salesforce experience is a plus
ā¢ Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
ā¢ A team player who can also work independently and take initiative

ā¢ Internship runs June-August 2025 (flexible scheduling)
ā¢ 10 hours/week (120 total hours)
ā¢ Fully remote
ā¢ Stipend: $2,500
ā¢ Supervisor: Chelsea Andreadis, Manager of Development & Community Fundraising
