Program Dates: May 29 – August 7, 2026. Location: This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US. Work Authorization: US Work Authorization required for this role. Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made. The Main Responsibilities Join a high-impact cybersecurity team focused on , threat hunting, and investigative research and digital forensics As a summer intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real-world investigations, analyzing threat data, and contributing to the development of security tools and processes. This intern will focus on Advanced Cyber Investigations, Cyber Threat Hunting and Research, Summer 2026 Internship: Cybersecurity Investigations & Threat Research: Forensics and eDiscovery, Advanced Cyber Investigations, Cyber Threat Hunting and Research. Project tasks may include: • Explore emerging threats, malware behavior, and reverse engineering. • Learn to contribute to tool tuning, use case development, and threat taxonomy updates. • Participate in threat hunting using behavioral IOCs, Jupyter Notebooks, and SIEM tools. • Contribute to research on emerging threats, malware behavior, and reverse engineering. • Document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. What We Look For in a Candidate Required qualifications • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship. • Graduating August 2026 – May 2028 • Preferred fields include but not limited to: Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field Proficiency and understanding of: • Deeply passionate about learning Cyber Security in practice • Familiarity with Cloud based technologies, Linux, Python and other security technologies such as, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Network packet capture and analysis, Open source forensics tools, such as Autopsy, SIFT, and REM. • Basic understanding of incident response, log analysis, and threat intelligence. • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compensation Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.
