What’s The Job All About?

The Intern – Safety Risk Management, will be based in Atlanta Georgia. This position will support the Manager – Corporate Ground Safety Initiatives and will gain hands-on experience managing program elements associated with Barrier Risk Management. This position will be directly responsible for data entry and analysis of risk data. This position is heavily focused on managing a wide range of operational risk and the successful candidate will be exposed to processes that allow a global carrier to effectively determine the risk across a broad spectrum of operational activities. This position may require some travel. The successful candidate will practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

The Candidate Must:
• Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program (preferably Aviation Safety or Aviation Operations)
• Have a strong command of all Microsoft Suite products and internet applications.
• Be able to effectively communicate information (verbal and written) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams

• Be of the highest caliber due to access to sensitive risk data
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
• Working as an intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as an intern at the same time.
