Comprehensive Banking Internship
This 10-week internship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the banking industry. Throughout the program, you will be exposed to various leaders and aspects of our line of business, allowing you to develop a well-rounded skillset.
You will have the chance to participate in meetings, network with other interns and associates, and receive guidance from experienced professionals in the field. By the end of the internship, you will have gained valuable insights and potentially set the stage for future career opportunities at First Horizon.
The internship is a full-time summer position, but we offer some flexibility in the schedule and number of hours worked weekly, within normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
SharePoint and Compass Management
We are seeking an intern to assist with the day-to-day duties of our members, including:
Collaborating with the Corporate Communications team to gather requirements and content for SharePoint pages.
Assisting with the design of engaging and user-friendly SharePoint pages to meet business needs.
Updating and maintaining SharePoint pages to ensure content is current and accurate.
Analyzing SharePoint usage and traffic to provide insight and recommendations for improving content and associate engagement.
Microsoft Forms Creation
We need an intern to design and create Microsoft Forms for surveys, feedback, and data collection, including:
Defining the purpose and requirements of each form.
Testing forms to ensure functionality and ease of use.
Analyzing and reporting on form responses to provide insight.
Corporate Communications Project Plan Management
We are looking for an intern to support the Corporate Communication team in maintaining and updating the project plan, including:
Maintaining and updating project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
Providing administrative support to Corporate Communications team members.
Storytelling and Content Creation
We need an intern to collaborate with community relations team members to gather compelling stories and news, including:
Publishing stories on our intranet and submitting them for Associate Corner (newsletter).
Monitoring the performance and engagement of published stories, providing feedback for continuous improvement and associate engagement.
Additional Responsibilities
We are looking for an intern who can participate in team meetings, contribute ideas for improving communication strategies, and assist with management of company-wide contests to increase associate engagement.
Qualifications:
Full-time undergraduate student.
GPA of 3.0 or above.
Strong interest in business and finance.
Team-oriented and entrepreneurial spirit.
Demonstrated leadership at work or campus.
Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strategic and critical thinking skills.
Computer and Office Equipment Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite.
SharePoint or similar.
