Intern - Card Services

Remote Full-time
This full-time intern will partner with the Card Services team at Needham Bank. The Card Services Intern will be introduced to our procedures for customer acquisition, onboarding and relationship maintenance to promote the growth of the program and delivery an A+ customer experience with each and every touchpoint. The Intern will work closely with the Card Services team on daily tasks and will assume ownership of 2-3 projects aimed at developing portfolio growth for the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with Director of Card Services in market research and data analysis to help identify areas of opportunity for program growth.
• Work cross-functionally across Card Services, Marketing, Retail, and/or Customer Service to bring growth-driving programs and campaigns to life.
• Partner with Debit Card Specialist to review and process daily adjustment reports, potential fraud cases and card order requests
• Assist team in the daily reconciling and settlement of the department General Ledgers
• Support the Business Credit Card Specialist in application review and complete certain aspects of the underwriting and decisioning process.
• Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Pursuit of Bachelor's degree and/or Graduate degree in Business or Marketing fields
• Entry level knowledge of business/banking setting
• Interest in banking field preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Business professional office environment.
• Infrequent local travel may be required to attend meetings and business related activities.
