Intermodal Service Employee

Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
Load and unload freight from rail cars and trucks using proper equipment and techniques.
Operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to move and position freight.
Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate and prioritize workload.
Maintain accurate records of all freight movements, including tracking and reporting any delays or issues.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any customer inquiries or concerns.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs for equipment and facilities.
Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve processes and efficiency.
Stay current with industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance.
Utilize computer systems and software to track and document freight movement.
Follow all company and government regulations regarding the handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
Attend training and meetings as required to maintain knowledge and skills.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Handle and transport freight with care to prevent damage or loss.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.
Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
