Intermediated Claims Specialist

About the Role
As an Intermediated Claims Specialist, you’ll manage a portfolio of complex and express claims, delivering outstanding service while ensuring optimal financial outcomes and timely resolutions.
This is a hands-on position where you’ll work closely with customers, brokers, and suppliers to drive claims through to resolution, while maintaining strong compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage a portfolio of 80 - 120 home and landlord claims (complex and express)
Deliver great customer experiences through clear communication and strong relationships
Drive timely claim resolutions and sound financial outcomes
Work closely with brokers, loss adjusters, and builders
Set and manage claim reserves in line with expected outcomes
Ensure all claims meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Identify and manage risks, including reporting and improvement opportunities
Contribute to a safe workplace and a strong risk-aware team culture
Look for ways to improve processes and efficiency


What You’ll Bring

2+ years’ experience managing home and/or landlord insurance claims
Solid understanding of claims handling, legislation, and industry practices
Experience working with brokers and within general insurance
Strong customer service skills in a complex environment
Commercially minded and solutions-focused
Highly organised with strong time management skills
Able to manage your workload independently
Confident communicator who builds strong relationships
