Intermediate SEO Specialist (Technical + On-Page) — Part-Time, Ongoing
Summary We’re looking for an intermediate-level SEO Specialist to support multiple client accounts on a part-time, ongoing basis. We already have a senior SEO strategist who handles quarterly audits, high-level strategy, and overall SEO planning. This role is focused on execution and ownership—you’ll implement recommendations, create strong SEO content briefs when needed, and proactively identify issues or opportunities across client sites. This is not an entry-level role, but it’s also not a senior strategist position. We’re looking for someone who’s confident working independently, understands both traditional SEO and emerging AIO (AI Optimization) considerations, and can manage multiple client sites at once. Workload will vary week to week. Some weeks may be lighter; others (especially following audits or launches) may be more active. ⸻ What You’ll Do •Implement technical SEO fixes identified through audits and ongoing site reviews (Core Web Vitals, indexing, schema, redirects, crawl issues, site speed, broken links, etc.) • Create and refine SEO content briefs for pages and blog posts (outlines, keyword usage, internal linking, SEO requirements) • Proactively review client websites to identify: • Technical issues • On-page optimization opportunities • Content gaps or improvements • Use SEMrush to monitor performance, surface issues, and support ongoing optimization • Track and manage work using Monday.com • Communicate updates, blockers, and recommendations clearly and concisely ⸻ What We’re Looking For • Intermediate, hands-on SEO experience across: • Technical SEO • On-page SEO • Content optimization and briefing • Strong working knowledge of: • Core Web Vitals • Indexing, crawlability, and site architecture • Structured data / schema • Internal linking strategies • Familiarity with AIO (AI Optimization) and how SEO is evolving alongside AI-driven search • Comfortable working across multiple client websites at once • Autonomous and proactive — you’ll identify issues or opportunities without being explicitly assigned every task • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working inside Monday.com • Experience using tools such as: • Google Search Console • SEMrush • Screaming Frog or similar ⸻ Availability & Communication • You’ll need to be available during CST business hours for communication via Slack • You don’t need to be active all day, but you must be responsive within a reasonable timeframe when questions or updates are needed ⸻ Bonus (Not Required) • Experience with local SEO, including supporting map pack visibility or GBP optimization • Experience working with property management companies, HOA management firms, or similar service-based industries ⸻ Important Note on Applications Low-effort or AI-generated responses that simply claim “you can do everything listed” will be rejected.
