They are currently seeking an Interior Designer who is passionate and thrives in a dynamic team environment, focusing on creating branded, interior, amenity spaces for top housing developers across the country.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with team members, engineers and other consultants for coordination of workUtilizes interior architectural space planning, 3D visualization, knowledge of materials and common building practices to create a design and carry it through to completion alongside our team of expertsDelivers design intent, verbally, graphically and in writing to the internal design teamContributes to the production of design documents and detailed development of construction documents during all project phasesAssists in Contract Administration including, review of shop drawings, material submittals and site visits during constructionAssists in assembling furniture presentations, specification packages, interior design and finish presentationsAssists in on-site furniture, art and accessory installationsSkillsBachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design1-3 years of interior architectural project types - multifamily & hospitality preferredPossesses general knowledge of construction details, building codes and accessibility standardsCapability with Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, BluebeamAbility to Commute: Baltimore, MD 21202 (Required)Work Location: Hybrid, In person 3 days a week (Required)BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Plans401(K) with company matchCompany paid STD, LTD, LifePTO PlansMentorship Programs and Professional DevelopmentCompany OverviewHCM is a collaborative design firm working at the intersection of inspiration and impact.
