Interim Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an InterimSenior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. Overview:Our client seeks a skilled commercial real estate paralegal to assist with the negotiation and drafting of leases and supporting documents. Company:Our client is a commercial real estate organization focusing on the development and operation of large-scale office spaces. Experience: Five or more years working as a commercial real estate paralegal acquired in a top law firm or in-house environment.Location: Fully remote. East coast candidates are preferred, but client is open to candidates willing to work East Coast Hours. Responsibilities Include: • Draft and negotiate commercial leases, lease amendments, letters of credit, licenses, consents to assignment/subletting, non-disclosure agreements, guaranties, tenant estoppel certificates, right of first order/ right of first refusal (ROFOs/ROFRs), bills of sale and brokerage/commission agreements. • Conduct title searches. • Conduct legal research as needed.Qualifications Include: • Excellent academic credentials including a four-year baccalaureate degree from a well-respected university. A paralegal certificate is preferred, but not required. • Five or more years’ experience working as a commercial real estate paralegal acquired in a top law firm or in-house environment. • Fastidious attention to detail in both oral and written communication. • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
