Integrated Logistic Support Analyst

They are seeking an Integrated Logistic Support Analyst to support the AJISS contract for the Royal Canadian Navy’s Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels and Joint Support Ship programs, focusing on improving support systems and optimizing lifecycle costs.ResponsibilitiesReview vendor documentation and identify maintenance and support requirementsCollect, organize and expedite the necessary technical data to conduct Product and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) activities such as Functional Analysis; Failures Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis; Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis; Level of Repair Analysis; Maintenance Task Analysis and Sparing AnalysisDetermine required spares and spares quantities to support equipment by reviewing technical publications and usage data as well as interacting with Thales engineering, procurement and service delivery personnel, Technical Authorities or ship staffReview Maintenance Plans, Preventive or Corrective Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Test and operational data to propose amendments to eliminate or control equipment failures or to improve maintainability, increase ship availability or reduce life cycle costsDevelop Maintenance Plans, Preventive or Corrective Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Tests as well as Spare Parts List and accompanying Provisioning Technical Data for any new equipment or modification to existing ship systemsIdentify the maintenance or spares required to support Short Work Periods or Docking work PeriodsSupport the AJISS Enterprise stakeholders by addressing maintenance or spares queries as well as problem reports in a timely mannerManage the data within Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR)Conduct Lifecycle Cost Analysis and report Thru Life CostsAssist in the preparation and execution of various Supportability plans or B2B processesSupport Engineering personnel with the development of Engineering Change proposalsReview elements of the technical data package to ensure that the technical data reflects the latest system/equipment configuration of the ships, is complete, accurate and consistent across the support solutionCreate Document Change Requests and liaise with technical contributors as required to develop the Change Package to identify the technical data package revisionsSkillsAn Engineering degree or Technologist diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability or naval engineeringOne or more years experience conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipmentPrevious experience working with Logistics Support Analysis application software such as OmegaPS, Reliasoft RAM, Eagle ELT, SLIC2B, Relex, and/or AnalyzerBackground in naval systems and equipment is desirableExperience supporting an operational military assetExperience developing Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Processes or ProceduresExperience identifying and addressing Logistics Support Analysis deficiencies in Technical PublicationsAbove average Microsoft Windows application experience, communications and interpersonal skills are required for this positionLanguage: English (Essential), French (Desirable)BenefitsCompany paid Extended HealthDentalHSALifeAD&DShort-term DisabilityCancer Care ProgramTravel insuranceEmployee Assistance PlanWell-Being programRetirement Savings Plans (RRSP, DCPP, TFSA) with a company contribution and a match to a DCPP, with no vesting period.Company paid holidaysVacation daysPaid sick leaveVoluntary LifeAD&DCritical IllnessLong-Term DisabilityEmployee Discounts on home, auto, and gym membershipCompany OverviewThales (Euronext Paris: HO) is a global leader in advanced technologies for the Defence, Aerospace, and Cyber & Digital sectors.
