What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, handling tier 1 calls and accurately inputting information into various systems
- Utilize multiple systems to access necessary information for resolving customer inquiries and ensuring first-call resolution
- Determine appropriate follow-up procedures for calls in a timely manner
- De-escalate upset callers effectively to provide exceptional service promptly
- Assist with additional departmental duties as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a call center environment handling inbound calls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient data collection, interpretation, and typing abilities
- Excellent listening and empathy skills
- Proficiency in navigating multiple programs simultaneously
- Typing speed of 25 wpm or more
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and handle stressful situations
- Bilingual in English and/or Spanish
- High School Diploma or GED
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Additional language proficiency
