Insurance Tax Accountants (Remote!)
Duties include:
ā¢ Quarterly GAAP and STAT tax provision relating to realized and unrealized capital gains for domestic life insurance companies; providing information related to permanent and timing differences used in determining effective tax rates for the operating divisions.
ā¢ Year-end GAAP and STAT tax provision relating to permanent and temporary adjustments impacting Net Investment Income as well as realized and unrealized capital gains for life insurance and other.
ā¢ Preparation of investment related portions of tax return for domestic life insurance companies.
ā¢ Preparation of tax provision and tax returns for a portfolio of investment management companies.
ā¢ Preparation of tax returns for a portfolio of real estate partnerships.
ā¢ Review work of Outside Big 4 CPA firm
ā¢ Effective at multi-tasking while meeting important tax deadlines.
ā¢ Detail oriented, efficient and organized professional.
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
