Insurance Director
Job Overview:
As an Insurance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing insurance distribution channels in South Florida. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of property and casualty insurance industry experience.
Your Responsibilities:
Ā Manage the insurance procurement process including broker relationships, applications, submissions, analysis and comparisons.
Ā Attend board meetings as needed to present renewals and educate the board of directors.
Ā Audit association's coverage to ensure compliance with governing documents and contracts
Ā Compare and provide analyses of new and renewal proposals or policies
Ā Provide input, analysis, and perspective to the executive team and market business leaders on the development and implementation of the insurance products.
Ā Manage the relationships for insurance distribution partners focusing on growth, monthly reporting, quality of service, and the client experience.
Ā Identify, negotiate and onboard all new insurance distribution partners.
Ā Gather and maintain a database for managed associations COPE information
Ā Assist with completion of insurance applications
Ā Develop, market and implement strategies to increase penetration, facilitate organic growth and maximize revenue with our insurance distribution partners.
Ā Prepare and lead monthly review and analysis of Insurance reports and dashboards with executive, sales and regional teams.
Ā Develop and present educational presentations to association managers and clients
Ā Develop annual sales budgets and forecasting.
Ā Manage and track all open and pending claims and act as a liaison to the association manager
Skills & Qualifications:
Ā Bachelor's degree required
Ā Minimum of 5 years insurance agency experience
Ā Property and casualty insurance license
Ā Knowledge of real estate and/or property management industry
Ā Strong communication and presentation skills
Ā Effective relationship management skills
Ā Knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook
Travel:
The position will be in South Florida and will require some travel.
