Insurance Defense Associate Attorney | Remote
A well-established and growing New York insurance defense litigation firm is seeking 3+ years attorneys with experience in general liability, automobile, labor law, municipal tort liability, and/or civil rights litigation to join its expanding team. With more than 70 years of history in the New York market, this mid-size firm offers the rare combination of institutional stability, sophisticated litigation work, and hands-on attorney development, making it an excellent platform for attorneys looking to build real courtroom experience while maintaining work-life flexibility. This role is completely REMOTE.

Responsibilities
• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Appear for virtual and in-person court appearances
• Draft and argue motions
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Prepare reports for insurance carriers and municipal clients
Qualifications
• Active New York State Bar admission (required)
• Federal Bar admission (SDNY and/or EDNY) preferred
• Prior experience in insurance defense, general liability, municipal torts, and/or civil rights litigation
• Third year from $120k
• Experienced attorneys up to $200k
• 2200 billable hour requirement
Required Skills
Experience in insurance defense, general liability, municipal torts, and/or civil rights litigation.
Preferred Skills
Federal Bar admission (SDNY and/or EDNY) preferred.
Pay range and compensation package
From $120k - $200k (depending on experience), 2200 billable hour requirement.
