Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience for an excellent opportunity at a prestigious national litigation firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position offers the chance to work on complex third-party insurance coverage and bad faith matters on behalf of top-tier insurance clients.
Position Overview
The associate attorney will gain hands-on experience managing case files, analyzing legal issues, and representing clients in coverage litigation. With a collaborative and supportive environment, you will receive mentorship from experienced partners while having the autonomy to contribute meaningfully to your cases.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle third-party insurance coverage and bad faith matters.
• Draft comprehensive coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters.
• Represent insurers in coverage litigation and related bad faith cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court filings.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies.
Qualifications
• Active license to practice law in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in third-party insurance coverage and bad faith matters.
• Strong experience in drafting coverage opinions and litigation-related documents.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and within a team.
• Federal court experience preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
