Insurance and Retirement Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their insurance needs. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a solid understanding of insurance products and services. The Insurance Specialist will work closely with clients to ensure they receive the best coverage options tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
• Engage in outside sales activities to promote insurance products and services.
• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs to recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Manage sales administration tasks, including maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.
• Conduct telemarketing efforts to generate leads and expand the client base.
• Assist in benefits administration by explaining policy details and coverage options to clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance or related fields such as retail sales or telemarketing.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Familiarity with benefits administration is a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
