We are currently searching for a competitive and self-motivated team member to become a medical case manager. The ability to work in a fluid environment along with strong attention to detail and relationship building skills are essential. Job Scope and Responsibilities: Our ideal candidate would have the right combination of insurance adjusting experience as well as customer focused interpersonal skills that will connect with our external and internal customers. The case manager acts as a liaison between the patient/attorney and healthcare providers within the the medical network. This candidate would be responsible for accepting new referrals for timely contact, underwriting and assessing risks along with scheduling and confirming appointments from inception until bills/records have been received and reviewed. Other responsibilities include and are not limited to: . Intake/Contact of new patients . Ensure verification of correct patient/case data information . Address patient concerns and provide schedule times . Maintain due diligence for ongoing risk and underwriting . Managing email and phones to insure prompt, professional and courteous responses to all inquires Job Requirements: . Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider equivalent work experience . Minimal 3-5 years adjusting bodily injury claims, general insurance experience, legal experience, or case management experience in a professional environment . Experience in a production environment where organizational and time management skills are essential in balancing workload prioritization . Foster and develop interpersonal skills both oral and written to work across all boundaries . Bilingual a plus but not required Compensation and Benefit Package: . Full Time position subject to a 90-day probationary period . $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually . Paid Health and Dental Benefits .
