We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Technology Audio/Visual Technician to join our team at the University of Wyoming. As a key member of our instructional technology team, you will provide technical expertise and support to faculty, staff, and students, ensuring the seamless operation of audio/video systems, media control systems, and instructional technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical advice and service to faculty, staff, and students on the operation and support of audio/video systems, media control systems, and instructional technology
Oversee the maintenance and operation of audiovisual equipment, including sound, video, projection, and related equipment
Provide technical support and training on a variety of technology needs, including hand-held devices, wireless technologies, and fixed and mobile computing equipment
Assist with special requests, customer training, and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment
Develop and maintain documentation on the use of classroom technology and equipment for instructors

Requirements:
Vocational school, on-the-job experience, or associate's degree in a related field
2 years of work-related experience in the operation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, computer hardware/software, and wired/wireless networking
Technical training/experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis
Desired Qualifications:
1-2 years of work-related experience in a similar technical field
Technical training or certification in audio-visual equipment, computer hardware/software, and wired/wireless networking
