We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instructional Support Associate, Mathematics to provide exceptional support to our students. As a key member of our Academic Support Programs (ASP) team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the daily operations of our discipline-specific center, ensuring seamless workflow and delivering top-notch academic support to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group tutoring to students in mathematics, promoting academic success and excellence
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, fostering a culture of academic integrity and respect
Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement innovative academic support strategies, enhancing student outcomes and retention
Travel to various campuses and locations for college business, promoting our programs and services to students, faculty, and staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field, with tutorial/teaching experience in an educational setting
Alternatively, an Associate's degree with two years of related professional work experience or an AA with a College Reading Learning Association or Association of Coaching and Tutoring Profession associate tutor certification
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
