About the Role
As an Instructional Paraprofessional, you will work under the direction of classroom teachers and case managers to deliver high-quality instructional services and support to students. Your responsibilities will include:
Tutoring and instructing students under the guidance of classroom teachers
Assisting with instructional materials preparation and technology integration
Recording student progress and providing feedback
Supporting students during group work and helping them maintain focus and engagement
Modifying instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
Monitoring hallways, study halls, and reinforcing school-wide behavioral expectations
Performing clerical tasks, such as scheduling, copying, and data management
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should:
Possess an Associate's degree or 2 years of college credit (or equivalent)
Hold a V endorsement driver's license (or be eligible for the endorsement)
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Show a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and teachers
Be able to follow directions in both oral and written forms
Have prior experience working with school-age children (preferred)
