Job Title: Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced instructional designer with expertise in creating effective design strategies and developing eLearning courses. The candidate should have a strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design principles for asynchronous and synchronous learning, and excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to align their proven design strategy skills to meet client requirements by incorporating branding guidelines, creating objectives, and adapting development efforts to meet the desired level of interactivity and complexity using multiple tools in the development process. This role involves working independently and as part of a high performing team throughout all stages of the ADDIE process. The individual may collaborate with client SMEs to solicit input and feedback while keeping project schedules on track and will obtain input, feedback, and direction from team leads and/or the Senior Director of Product Solutions. Attention to detail, being receptive to client and internal feedback, and the ability to develop QA learning resources to meet the needs of various audiences is a must.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:
• Proven background in applying instructional design principles and adult learning theory to custom eLearning solutions: formulating a custom learning design strategy, including creation of development outlines and timelines based on needs analysis and/or proposal.
• Effectively prioritize use of development hours based on agreed strategy and timeline while demonstrating meaningful use of various tools and technology to create blended learning resources that align to learning outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong ability to learn and incorporate new technology including instructional design authoring tools, software, AI, and LMS/LXPs.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all aspects of instructional design, from ideation to final delivery.
• Adhere to accessibility guidelines and create visually appealing learning resources to engage learners and aid delivery based on objectives and needs of target audience.
• Strong ability to work in an AGILE environment adapting to iterative development processes and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality instructional materials within the timelines provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Business, Education or relevant field.
• Demonstrated proficiency using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise in a business environment. Knowledge of Camtasia and Vyond a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with others, handle multiple projects, be flexible with change, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Reliable high-speed internet.
Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Solutions

Pay: $25-40/hour depending on experience and number of hours per week will vary based on client needs.
