Job Title: Instructional Designer - IDRE

Department: IDRE Performance and Enablement
The IDRE Performance and Enablement team serves as the regulatory and operational enablement function for the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) business. The team translates regulatory requirements, system configuration changes, and production insights into consistent, defensible operational execution.
This function partners closely with Compliance, Configuration/Development, QA, and Operations to reduce interpretation variance, accelerate productivity, and maintain audit-ready standards in a federally regulated arbitration environment.

Position Summary:
The Instructional Designer is responsible for the architecture, documentation governance, and change translation framework supporting the IDRE function. This role ensures that regulatory updates, system configuration changes, and process modifications are converted into structured, version-controlled learning assets that drive consistent operational execution.

This position owns learning design standards, curriculum architecture, and content governance. While not primarily responsible for facilitation, this role partners closely with the Learning & Development Specialist to ensure learning experiences are practical, engaging, and performance-driven.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead performance consultations to define root causes and solution strategy.
· Define learning objectives aligned to operational KPIs and compliance requirements.
· Architect blended learning journeys (ILT, VILT, eLearning, job aids, simulations).
· Establish design frameworks, templates, and instructional standards.
· Develop complex training programs and eLearning modules.
· Own version control, documentation standards, and content lifecycle management.
· Ensure audit-readiness and regulatory alignment in all learning assets.
· Standardize facilitator guides, participant materials, and assessments.
· Align learning assets with knowledge management systems.
· Design evaluation strategies tied to behavior change and operational impact.
· Define pre/post assessment strategies.
· Partner with leadership to establish learning KPIs.
· Analyze data trends to recommend curriculum improvements.

Qualifications
· 5 - 8+ years in instructional design in corporate or regulated environments.
· Advanced experience with blended learning design.
· Strong performance consulting skills.
· Experience in healthcare, insurance, or compliance-heavy environments preferred.
