The ideal candidate will ensure that both teacher- and student-facing content are optimized for our digital platform. This role reports directly to the Head of Curriculum.We’re looking for someone with a background in K-12 ELA teaching, instructional design, project management, and a strong willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.You will...Manually author/edit interactive question types using the Kiddom platformDevelop and implement protocols for instructional/graphic design of curriculum-aligned ELA lesson presentationsAuthor/edit supplemental resources aligned to existing ELA curriculumReview content and provide Quality Assurance feedback to Kiddom’s contractor networkAlign ELA content to state and national standards and develop student-centered learning experiencesWhat we're looking for...3–5 years of K–12 ELA classroom teaching experience (upper elementary or secondary preferred)3+ years of instructional design experience focused on ELA and digital learningStrong understanding of ELA standards such as Common Core or state-specific benchmarksExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projectsPassion for equitable education and empathy for the needs of teachers and studentsProficient in using Generative AI tools to enhance instructional design and content development workflows.Experienced with project management platforms such as JIRA and Monday.com to track tasks, timelines, and team collaboration.Skilled in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for creating, organizing, and sharing curriculum and project documentation.Salary range is dependent on geographic location, prior experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.What we offerFull time permanent employees are eligible for the following benefits from their first day of employment:* Competitive salary* Meaningful equity* Health insurance benefits: medical (various PPO/HMO/HSA plans), dental, vision, disability and life insurance * One Medical membership (in participating locations)* Flexible vacation time policy (subject to internal approval).
