Institutional Compliance Onboarding Analyst
MLabs is accelerating the global transition to blockchain-based financial services, and they are seeking a motivated Institutional Compliance Onboarding Analyst. This role is essential for supporting customer due diligence and onboarding workflows to ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and due diligence reviews for new institutional clients Perform deep-dive background screening on legal entities, Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), and controlling parties across various global jurisdictions Evaluate corporate documentation, ownership charts, proposed fund flows, and expected transactional activity to identify potential red flags Prepare clear, well-documented due diligence reports and provide formal onboarding recommendations to compliance leadership Collaborate with internal teams to enhance automation and improve the efficiency of the onboarding tech stack Verify source of funds (SoF) and source of wealth (SoW) for high-risk institutional profiles to ensure full regulatory alignment Skills 1-2+ years of experience in AML/BSA/KYC compliance, specifically focused on onboarding or customer due diligence Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with an ability to work independently in a remote-first environment Excellent written communication skills, with a proven ability to draft formal reports and interact with institutional stakeholders Prior experience working at a leading fintech or a high-growth startup is highly preferred Certifications: ACAMS, CFCS, or similar professional certifications are a plus Benefits Competitive salary ($50K - $65K) + benefits Company Overview MLabs is an IT company that specializes in offering blockchain, full-stack development, functional programming, and AI solutions.
