Job Duties: Design and execute the querying and analysis of first party platform data to make recommendations that impact advertisers' business objectives on Pinterest for key industries (e.g. Retail, CPG, Travel, Tech/Telco, Financial Services). As a complement to first party data findings, analyze third party syndicated data sources (comScore, GlobalWebIndex, Mintel) for industry perspectives. Translate data into compelling, actionable narratives that factor in unique stakeholder input and business questions. Work as a contributing member of the Insights Strategy team to tell holistic and compelling stories around a wide range of business opportunities on Pinterest. Reinforce Insights at Pinterest as a marketplace differentiator based on the powerful intent-driven signals of our consumers. Telecommuting is permitted. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Data Science, Business Analytics, or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. Special Skill Requirements: (1) SQL; (2) Python; (3) Juypter; (4) Data visualization; (5) Marketing strategy; (6) Google Suite; (7) Data Analysis; (8) Market Research; (9) Consumer insight; and (10) Digital marketing. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.
