Inside Sales Representative III (Senior)

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative III (Senior) with a technology company. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with our client. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:
• Focus time and resources on the most strategic shelter customers
• Build and maintain positive relationships with executives of strategic customers; be a partner that influences business decision making
• Maintain an understanding of external environmental factors, competitors, and emerging trends that may impact customers and markets, products, and operations
• Contribute to cross-functional business teams to articulate customer and field perspective into Animal Shelter and Pet Acquisition strategy
• Communicate about products in a way that's meaningful and relevant to each individual customer; customize discussions and interactions based on understanding of customer's needs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, meeting with key personnel to understand account structure, business model, and customer needs to identify business opportunities
• Develop customer strategy, outlining strategy for interactions, solutions, and partner involvement resulting in sales opportunities and account sales growth
• Position our client's pharmaceuticals and technology brands in accounts to bring pets into the ecosystem and retain their engagement
• Partner with Marketing and Distribution Field Partners to maintain a strong focus on key accounts to drive sales growth
• Monitor and analyze product, customer, contract, and account level performance with key stakeholders
• Identify and select programs/services to address customer needs and provide education and training opportunities to accounts
• Educate and consult key customers about microchipping as an important component to pet health
• Perform administrative duties, such as entering and tracking customer information into a CRM system and preparing contracts and reports
Requirements:
• Minimum of High School Diploma with 5 years of industry experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 3 years of industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years of animal health sales or comparable industry experience
• Effective application of selling techniques and approaches, simultaneously managing multiple customers/accounts
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and manage a diverse mix of accounts independently
• Strategic capability to successfully manage a portfolio of products at various lifecycle phases
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including highly effective presentation skills
• Demonstrated technology proficiency including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), web applications, and digital selling tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired skills:
• Deep understanding of the Animal Health business, the companion animal market (e.g., products, customers, competitors, etc) and industry trends
Pay range: Up to $41.50 per Hour
