Essential Qualifications Experience in inpatient coding and HIM management, with a strong understanding of coding guidelines, regulations, and industry standards. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve exceptional results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and technical teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare information systems, with experience in coding and HIM software applications. Ability to work in a remote environment, with flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in inpatient coding and HIM management. Certifications such as RHIA, CCS, or CPC, with a strong understanding of coding and HIM best practices. Experience with data analytics and reporting, with the ability to develop and implement data-driven solutions. Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, including EHRs, coding and billing software, and data warehousing applications. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, ICD-10, and CPT, with a strong understanding of compliance and risk management. ITIL v3 certification and experience with IT service management, with a focus on incident, problem, and change management.
