Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
Participating in an 11-week full-time internship from May 28 August 8, 2025.
Engaging in real work experience with a team in your business area.
Leading or contributing to projects while participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities.
Building "Aetna Insights" using cloud-agnostic and open-source technologies.
Automating telemetry data collection and developing machine learning, analytics, and Generative AI solutions.
Delivering technology initiatives and building trusted relationships with peer groups and business partners.
About You:
Candidates should possess the following:
Experience designing and building software applications with proficiency in Python & JavaScript.
Familiarity with building and training M/L models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, statistical concepts, data modeling, and model performance.
Leadership experience and strong communication skills.
Experience with Cloud development, CI/CD pipelines, and databases.
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate of $23.00 with 40 hours per week.
July 4th off (company holiday) and two days of paid leave.
A housing stipend may be provided based on eligibility.
Hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days remote.
Training & Development:
Interns will be immersed in a culture of continuous improvement, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Career Progression:
Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program, with an increased likelihood of receiving a post-graduation offer.
