Job description: Best Buy Co., Inc. has an opening working for and based out of its corporate headquarters as an Infrastructure Engineer. Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery. Perform Root Cause Analysis / Problem Management for corporate Identity Management environment. Serve as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems. Serve as the escalation support for domain technology issues. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs. Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines. Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting steps. Improve existing processes through automating solutions of recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions. Manage customer satisfaction by effectively communicating / managing customer expectations. Develop, document, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of Active Directory, and related systems. Full Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical specialty, plus two (2) years of experience in each of the following: using Windows Server 2016-2019, Active Directory, automating work via PowerShell and editing group policies, audit implementing defined processes for internal/external compliance, using virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V), and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
