Information Governance Specialist (Compliance and Investigations)
A leading global technology company is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support its Compliance & Ethics / Investigations team on a contract basis. This role will focus on managing investigative data, supporting data governance processes, and ensuring compliance with data retention and regulatory requirements.

Title: IT Support Specialist (Compliance & Investigations) β Contract
Location: Remote (United States)
Time Zone: Pacific hours preferred
Duration: ~3 months (April 1, 2026 β June 30, 2026)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Rate: $50/hour-$70/hour
β’ *What Youβll Do**
β’ Manage and maintain investigative data in accordance with data retention, legal, and compliance requirements
β’ Coordinate data migrations between cloud storage environments (e.g., Azure, SharePoint or similar systems)
β’ Implement and monitor data retention policies to ensure proper storage and timely deletion of records
β’ Ensure secure handling and disposal of sensitive data in alignment with corporate and regulatory standards
β’ Maintain organized and accessible data repositories for investigative teams
β’ Support the development and maintenance of procedural documentation (SOPs, templates, checklists)
β’ Partner closely with internal investigations teams to support ongoing compliance efforts
β’ *What Weβre Looking For**
β’ 3+ years of experience in data management, records management, or information governance
β’ Experience working with enterprise cloud storage and document management systems (e.g., Azure, SharePoint, or similar)
β’ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive or confidential information
