Information Architect (Remote from US)

In this role, you will shape how complex technical information is structured, delivered, and experienced by users across multiple platforms. You will play a critical part in improving content findability, usability, and consistency at scale, while leveraging automation and AI-driven strategies. Working at the intersection of information architecture, technical documentation, and user experience, you will influence how content supports product adoption and customer success. This position offers broad exposure across teams and systems, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will help define future-facing content models while continuously improving existing documentation ecosystems. Accountabilities: • Design, maintain, and evolve an information architecture model that optimizes content reuse, searchability, and user experience across delivery channels • Define and execute content strategies that determine the most effective formats, navigation, and delivery mechanisms for different types of technical information • Coach and mentor content authors on structured authoring, information types, and best practices within a CCMS environment • Oversee content compilation, quality assurance, and publication aligned with product release cycles and continuous delivery workflows • Develop and maintain automated publishing and CI/CD workflows in collaboration with DocOps and localization partners • Lead content audits, inventory analysis, and taxonomy improvements to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency across the portfolio • Explore and implement AI-driven and agentic AI approaches to enhance content creation, management, and publishing processes • Collaborate cross-functionally with Support, Enablement, UX, Education, and Marketing teams to align documentation with user needs and business goals Requirements: • At least 7 years of experience in the software industry as an information architect or senior technical writer • Strong expertise in DITA XML, topic-based authoring, and minimalist documentation principles • Hands-on experience compiling, QA-ing, and publishing content through a structured content platform • Proven experience building or working with CI/CD-based publishing workflows • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels • Business-level proficiency in English • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience or exposure to AI-driven documentation strategies, MCP, or agentic AI concepts is a strong plus • Additional advantages include experience with API documentation, UX writing, Git-based version control, XML editing tools, scripting, Agile environments, and Apple platforms Benefits: • Competitive salary range with transparent compensation practices • Flexible work arrangements, including remote options and collaborative in-office moments when needed • Clear career progression supported by coaching, mentorship, and leadership • Opportunity to work on large-scale, global documentation systems with meaningful user impact • Collaborative culture built on trust, autonomy, and respect • Exposure to cutting-edge technology, AI innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives Why Apply Through Jobgether?
