Informatica Data Engineer- Development & Data Modeling Specialist

[remove if open to sponsorship] WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Design and implement ETL processes to efficiently extract data from various sources, transform it to meet specific business requirements, and load it into data warehouses or data marts, ensuring seamless data integration. • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using ETL tools, ensuring the reliable and timely flow of data from source systems to data storage solutions. • Ensure data quality through comprehensive validation, cleansing, and error handling mechanisms throughout the ETL process, maintaining high standards of data integrity and accuracy. • Optimize ETL performance by addressing bottlenecks, improving query efficiency, and ensuring scalability as data volumes grow, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the data processing infrastructure. • Provide production support for the ETL jobs that we own. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: • Proficiency in IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) for cloud-based data integration and management tasks. • Expertise in Informatica tools, relational databases i.e. Teradata, DB2, scripting languages (Unix/Windows), and knowledge of Snowflake. • Enabling the development of custom data transformations, complex mappings, and efficient ETL processes. • Hands-on experience with bolthires Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics solutions. PREFERRED: • Shell script skills to understand and modify, as needed. • Testing / Automation Testing • API integration for robust data processing and connectivity and experience in migrating to Cloud from relational databases.
