JOB TITLE: Infoblox ArchitectAGENCY SUPPORTED: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – USCIS OIT Architecture Engineering Support (AES2)LOCATION: Fully RemotePOSITION TYPE: Full-timeCLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability security clearance, which typically requires 2–4 weeks for processing and must be completed prior to the start date. We are seeking an experienced Infoblox Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Infoblox platforms and a strong background in network architecture, security, and automation. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of core network services.
Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable and resilient DDI solutions using Infoblox technologiesLead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Infoblox appliances and servicesDevelop and enforce IP address management strategies and governanceIntegrate Infoblox with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environmentsCollaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to align architecture with business needsAutomate DDI operations using APIs, scripting (Python, Ansible), and orchestration toolsPerform capacity planning, performance tuning, and system upgradesTroubleshoot complex DNS/DHCP/IPAM issues and provide root cause analysisMaintain documentation for architecture, processes, and configurationsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5+ years focused on InfobloxStrong expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM concepts and best practicesHands-on experience with Infoblox NIOS platformKnowledge of network security principles and DNS-based threatsExperience with automation tools and scripting (Python, REST APIs)Strong troubleshooting and analytical skillsMust be eligible to obtain DHS Suitability clearance.DESIRED:Infoblox Certified Architect (ICA) or related certificationsExperience with cloud networking and integrations (AWS Route 53, Azure DNS, etc.)Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standardsExperience in large enterprise or service provider environmentsWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position is fully remote.
