The Opportunity
? Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across health, wellness, and biotech infrastructure.
? Conduct rigorous diligence on prospective and follow-on investments, evaluating financials, key metrics, and growth opportunities.
? Explore targeted sectors, develop strategic insights, and create detailed market maps to inform investment strategy.
? Build authentic relationships with entrepreneurs and the broader healthcare ecosystem to source deals, identify trends, and generate new opportunities.
? Support our portfolio companies through various ad hoc projects.
Required Experience And Competencies
? Available to commit 10-20 hours per week required.
? 2-6 years of experience in startups, VC/PE, investment banking, consulting, health system, health plan, etc required.
? A demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies required.
? Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) an MBA, MPH, or PhD with a strong interest in healthcare and technology required.
? Ability to build and evaluate detailed financial models for investment opportunities.
? Proficient in applying valuation methodologies (discounted cashflow, comparable analysis, etc.)
? Proficient in identifying and assessing competitive landscapes
? Familiarity with term sheets, cap tables, and investment structures
? Experience conducting thorough diligence on financials, metrics, and growth potential
? Capable of creating sector deep dives and identifying emerging trends
? Ability to track and analyze portfolio company KPIs
? Skilled in assessing performance against industry benchmarks and peers
? Ability to assess complex problems and propose clear, actionable solutions without much guidance
? Strong verbal and written skills to convey insights and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
? Proven ability to work well in a team environment while managing independent responsibilities
? Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving priorities

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $35.76 - $44.70, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
