Industry Product Manager

That’s where you come in: we’re looking for a strong product manager who can create solutions that solve high impact problems. This role would touch most projects at Plate IQ – from purchase ordering and automated invoice processing to payments and financial services. Key Responsibilities:Hospitality Product Strategy & Innovation: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the hospitality industry, aligning with Ottimate’s overall business goals. Act as the internal and external subject matter expert for hospitality, ensuring industry needs are reflected in product development. Collaborate with product management to define and prioritize industry-specific features and enhancements. Analyze industry trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscapes to drive innovation and product differentiation. Solutions Development & Customization: Work with the product team to develop tailored solutions addressing key operational challenges in hospitality. Partner with marketing to create industry-specific campaigns, sales tools, and messaging that resonate with hospitality customers. Integrate customer and market feedback into product roadmaps to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with industry needs. Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with sales leadership to craft go-to-market strategies, positioning Ottimate’s hospitality solutions for maximum impact. Develop industry-focused content, including whitepapers, case studies, and presentations to support sales and customer engagement. Participate in strategic customer meetings to provide hospitality product expertise and drive key account wins. Industry Partnerships & Ecosystem Expansion: Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and influencers to strengthen Ottimate’s presence in hospitality. Identify strategic partnership opportunities to enhance product capabilities and market penetration. Thought Leadership & Market Presence: Represent Ottimate at hospitality industry events, conferences, and webinars, positioning the company as a thought leader. Contribute to industry reports, blogs, and insights to establish Ottimate’s leadership within the hospitality sector. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Technology, Product Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 5+ years of experience in product management, industry solutions, or consulting, preferably within hospitality technology or operations. AP automation experience is a plus. Proven success in developing and launching hospitality-focused products or solutions. Strong understanding of hospitality industry challenges, trends, and technology landscape. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
