Location: Sacramento, CA Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $21.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Indirect Loan Processor Specialist I Employment Type: Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt Pay Rate: $22.00/hour Location: Remote (Occasional weekend work at month-end) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Saturday/Sunday when month ends on a weekend) About the Role We are seeking an Indirect Loan Processor Specialist I to support our Dealer Services Operations team. This role involves reviewing, auditing, and funding loan applications through the Credit Union Direct Lending program. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, maintain compliance, and deliver exceptional service to both members and dealerships. Key Responsibilities • Review and audit loan documentation from vehicle dealerships. • Research missing information and resolve discrepancies with dealership personnel. • Verify application data for accuracy prior to funding. • Identify potential fraud indicators in loan documentation. • Approve and disburse loans according to established guidelines. • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering laws. • Fund dealerships with appropriate administrative fees. • Assist with reporting and departmental tasks as needed. • Communicate loan status updates to management and staff. • Support other lending areas as assigned. Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. • Experience: • One year in a lending or contract review position preferred. • Related experience in call center, retail, or consumer loans is acceptable. • Skills: • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively. • Computer proficiency and familiarity with office equipment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Background • Contact center or consumer loan experience (not limited to mortgage lending). • No mortgage experience required. • Open to candidates with retail or call center backgrounds.
