Job Description Our TJ Maxx Distribution Center (DC) is looking for a top‑notch Receiver Unloader Warehouse Associate. This person will play a key role in ensuring merchandise is organized and handled with care to provide value to our customers. Responsibilities • Unload carton freight trailers according to department standards, following trailer safety practices and performing the job function within established safety guidelines. • Work in an environment with variable temperatures. • Maintain housekeeping inside trailers and around dock door area. • Use a computer keyboard for logging trailer and inventory information. • Read from a computer screen in English. • Count, select, and sort cartons by style, color, store order or other criteria. • Lift and lower packages up to 50 lbs. and reach with hands and arms. Team lifting may be required on some assignments. • Frequently adjust body position to properly bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn and pivot. • Match receipts against purchase orders. • Work with limited supervision. • Be flexible with changing demands and priorities. • Be organized and show good attention to detail. • Be safety conscious. • Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications • 1 year of job‑related experience is preferred, but not required. • At least 18 years of age. • Must successfully complete a specialized math and skill assessment. • Be able to lift up to 60 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. • Must be able to stand and/or walk for 10 to 12 hours.
